En conferencia de prensa, ambas legisladoras manifestaron que el partido no otorga las condiciones para realizar una labor legislativa conectada a la sociedad, y consideran que la nueva dirigencia del PRI en Sonora, encabezada por Rogelio Díaz Brown, es una imposición de Alejandro ‘Alito‘ Moreno.

La bancada de Morena cuenta ahora con 16 escaños y tiene la mayoría en la 63 Legislatura.

Karina Zárate fue electa por el Distrito 9 de Hermosillo; mientras que Elly Sallard ganó en el Distrito 6.
